SETUP:
For best results, keep the practice mat out of direct sunlight and use it
in an area away from bright or fluorescent lights.
CAUTION: Do not look directly into the
bright blue light of the Accu-Trac light unit.
- Remove the rolled practice mat from the box and lay the mat on the
floor with the
green side facing up.

- Remove the Accu-Trac light unit from the
box. Do not remove the adhesive tape on the backside of the
light unit!

- Hold the Accu-Trac light unit so the adhesive
side faces the front side of the putter and position the light unit at the
center of the front side of the putter (position the light unit where
the putter would normally strike the ball). When placed correctly, the ON/OFF
switch will be on the top of the Accu-Trac light unit and
the light unit will be aligned with the center of the putter

Note: While it is possible to attach the light unit to the backside of a
putter, we recommend that you use it on the front side of the putter. We also
recommend that you do not strike a ball when using the Accu-Trac
light unit.
- Press the Accu-Trac light unit firmly to the front side of the
putter to attach it to your putter.
Note : You can easily remove the Accu-Trac light unit by twisting the
light unit and exerting a slight pulling action. Remove any adhesive residue left on
the putter by gently rubbing it with your finger.
Locate the ON/OFF switch on the top of the Accu-Trac light unit.
Slide the switch to the ON position to activate the light unit after you
begin your putting practice. When you finish practicing, slide the switch to the OFF
position.
Congratulations!
You are now ready to use the Accu-Trac light unit. Read the Instructions
on the other side of this sheet.
Note: If the adhesive pad on the back of the Accu-Trac light unit
light begins to loose its stickiness, gently clean the adhesive pad using a little
water and your finger. Let the pad air-dry and it will become sticky again.
Note: As the batteries in the Accu-Trac’s light unit loose their
charge, the light path will get weaker.
To replace the two CR2032 batteries, open the case by removing the small screw
located in the center of the adhesive side of the Accu-Trac light
unit. Remove and replace the batteries in the battery holder, then close the case
and secure it using the small screw.
CAUTION: Do not look directly into the
bright blue light |

INSTRUCTIONS:
To understand how to best use the Accu-Trac System, remove the "Improving
Your Game One Putt at a Time" booklet from the box and read Doug Cameron‘s, PGA
professional and golf instructor, advise on how to improve your putting form.
- Assure that the Accu-Trac light unit is properly attached to your
putter. Follow the step-by- step Setup explanation on the other side of this sheet.
- Place the practice mat on the floor with the green side facing up. For
best results, keep the practice mat out of direct sunlight and use it in an area away from
bright or fluorescent lights.
- Grip the putter and use it as you would normally.
- Both thumbs should point down the handle.
- The palms should be facing each other.
- The stroke is from the shoulders to the arms with just a bit of a hinge at the wrists.
- The putting stroke is best described as a pendulum motion.
- The grip pressure is light but constant. On a scale of 1 to 10, not more than 5, and
less grip is better.
- Assure the width of your stance is comfortable.
- Stand tall to the ball position and square to the target lines on the mat.
- Position your eyes directly over the center of the mat.
- The putter path is a straight-back and straight-through line.
- Maintain the same tempo as you stroke back and through the ball position.
- Keep the Accu-Trac light unit OFF, when you first start your
putting stroke practice. Use a pendulum motion to move the putter in a straight line over
the Accu-Trac practice mat, trying to keep the center of the putter between
the two black lines on the practice mat. Once you have the feel of the accuracy of your
putting stroke, proceed to the next step.
- Slide the Accu-Trac light unit switch to the ON position to
activate it after you begin your putting practice. When you finish practicing, slide
the switch to the OFF position (this will extend the life of the light unit batteries).
- Now continue practicing your putting stroke with the Accu-Trac light ON,
trying to keep the light path between the two black lines on the practice mat.
After each putting stroke, you can examine the accuracy of its glowing light path. When
first using the Accu-Trac System, It is perfectly normal to find it
difficult to stay between the lines on the practice mat.
- Repeat step 6 until you are able to consistently keep the glowing light path between the
black lines on the practice mat. Improve your putting stroke by concentrating on the
single black line in the middle of the mat (where you imagine a golf ball to be placed)
and make a smooth stroke without watching the putter motion. Check the glowing light path
after completing your putting stroke to verify your accuracy. As you improve your
straight-back and straight-through putting stroke, you’ll consistently be able to see
the glowing light path stays between the lines on the practice mat.
- Practice for a few minutes each day with the Accu-Trac System until you
can easily and consistently keep the glowing light path between the lines on the practice
mat. Your accuracy is an indication that you have developed your muscle memory and
you can recall how an accurate putting stroke feels. To keep your developed muscle memory
skill at it’s optimal level during the season, practice for a few minutes at home or in
the office before leaving for your round of golf.
- Since bad habits have a way of returning over time, use the Accu-Trac System
to retrain your muscle memory at the start of every season and during every season.
Enjoy your game!
